For the refurbished Meredith Connell project, Warren and Mahoney Architects were inspired by the attachment system of Asona’s Ridgeline Ceiling Fin system with it’s concealed U channel, discrete shadow-line affixing and additional fixing pin method. This method facilitated the architects aesthetic vision of arranging MDF 25mm thick x 125 mm deep louvre baffles and light boxes at opposing angles to each other which is not possible with the standard module systems available. Sprayed white the baffles and light boxes criss-cross the entire ceiling area of the reception, meeting areas and corridors creating striking ceiling shapes that has a visual energy.
