ASB Greenlane Regional Centre

CPRW Fisher architects creatively solved the acoustic needs of the ASB Greenlane Regional Centre and found interesting ways to utilise every available piece of space.

They chose Asona's Sound Shape cloud panels creating 40 mm triangles wrapped in digitally printed coloured fabrics and arranging them in umbrella formations around the cafeteria area to control the reverberation.

A large Cloud Panel in high reflective Luminate stretched fabric was suspended and flood lit above the central stairwell reflecting additional light back down the stairs while the acoustic absorber core controlled the noise from the foot traffic on the stairs.

Even an under the stairs void was utilised creating three 'Hobbit Hole' conference alcoves by utilising Asona’s Snaptex stretched fabric system to give a seamless look to these awkward spaces.
